The National Archaeological Museum of Tuscania exhibits the finds found during the archaeological investigations carried out in various Tuscan archaeological sites.
Since December 2014, the Ministry for Cultural Heritage and Activities manages it through the Lazio Museum Complex, which became the Regional Directorate of Museums in December 2019.
The Museum, located in the former Franciscan convent adjacent to the church of S. Maria del Riposo, preserves various archaeological finds from the area, especially Etruscans, from the various necropolises in the Tuscania area.
In the four rooms on the ground floor, the finds relating to the Curunas family, found in the Madonna dell'Olivo necropolis, and to the Vipinas family, found in the Carcarello necropolis are exhibited.
On the second floor there are three rooms, the first two with artifacts found in the Pian di Mola necropolis, in the Scalette necropolis and in the Ara del Tufo necropolis.
