Calabrian Ceramics Museum

The Museum exhibits over 500 pieces from 20 important production centers throughout Calabria in the setting curated by Monica De Marco takes shape in the most relevant place.

A corner of Calabria very famous for its millenary production of quality ceramics, capable of to seduce even a genius of art like the painter Pablo Picasso.

The museum itinerary, which is divided into three rooms, aims to trace a picture of the main production contexts of regional ceramics, identified as such for the duration of the phenomenon and the quantity of craftsmen and artefacts, but also, and above all, for the characters specific features that give a precise physiognomy to the figulin tradition of a specific area.
