The building of the former INA/INPS and of the Ministry of Education of the University and Research was originally the seat of the Ministry of National Education of Rome, the work of the architect Cesare Bazzani 1928, is an important example of Italian rationalist architecture, the building is currently undergoing extensive redevelopment.
The building built at the EUR was also the seat (1958-60) of the new Ministry of Health.
The real estate complex enjoys a privileged and highly visible position. Of particular importance is the exedra overlooking Via Cristoforo Colombo, in correspondence with Piazzale delle Nazioni Unite.
After hosting the Ministry of University and Research, it has now been closed.
