Dè Servi Theater - Virtual Tour 360°

The building that houses the Teatro dei Servi was built in 1950 in the large vegetable garden and garden of the convent adjacent to the parish Church of Santa Maria in Via.

Located in the historic center of Rome a few steps from the Trevi Fountain and overlooking via del Tritone.

The Teatro de 'Servi was inaugurated on April 26, 1957 by a company directed by Eduardo de Filippo, with the world premiere of "De Pretore Vincenzo ".

The direction was by Eduardo himself, scenes by Titina de Filippo and music by Renzo Rossellini. Main interpreters Achille Millo and Valeria Moricone, in his theatrical debut.

After the premiere, the Vicariate intervened and imposed the censorship of this show, amid great city controversies, and the brand new theater was closed for a few months.
