Villa Claricini Dornpacher

The construction of the Villa de Claricini Dornpacher, thanks to a series of written testimonies, dates back to 1670. The elongated architectural shape recalls the Friulian manor house; above the roof, a central elevation with pediment and large Venetian chimneys give grandeur to the building. Inside, the two floors have a vast central hall with two rooms lined up laterally.

From the courtyard of honor you can access the small church of S. Croce, built around 1700 and carefully restored in 2004. The interior has a single rectangular room, with paintings on the walls with saints attributed to Giacomo Carneo. The apse, adorned with paintings by Lucilio Candido (18th century), houses an altar of notable beauty for the fine work in polychrome marble, for the crucifix and the statues depicting St. Eurosia and St. Francis.

Between 1908 and 1909, Count Nicolò de Claricini had the villa restored and the Italian garden was built.
The stone floor, the lemon pots and the box hedges frame the green symmetry enriched by statues and fountains. A balustrade separates the formal garden from the park where a beautiful lawn and centuries-old essences of larches, maples, cedars, holm oaks and pines coexist.

Located in the small village of Moimacco, a short distance from Cividale del Friuli, the location allows the wedding to be shaped according to the tastes and desires of the spouses.
There are various spaces to be used for the reception, both external and internal.

• The rooms of the structure are air-conditioned, bright, spacious, and embellished with works of art.
• The Sala della Barchessa, on the first floor, is very bright thanks to the large windows and high ceiling. On the walls you can admire the paintings of the painter Guido Tavagnacco.
• The Party Room (Salon de Foladure), with exposed beams and stones, is ideal for creating a romantic atmosphere.
• Two other rooms which retain the original furnishings are suitable for hosting a small welcome buffet or for celebrating a civil ceremony.
• For the religious ceremony the spouses can choose the intimate and bright family chapel.
• In the park made up of centenary trees, you can set up tables and enjoy a delicious buffet.

The location also offers tables, elegant chairs and umbrellas for setting up, as well as the bridal room.
To immerse yourself even more in the reality of the villa, it is possible to taste the wine produced with grapes from the vineyards that surround it.
