Here are some of the things that guests love about Ai Casini d'Ardenza:
Overall, Ai Casini d'Ardenza is a great place to stay if you are looking for a comfortable and relaxing vacation in Livorno.
In the 19th century Livorno became a famous summer destination sought after by the national and international bourgeoisie, particularly the English. The first bathing establishments in Italy were built right here, the Bagni Pancaldi, which proposed a model repeated throughout the seafront. In 1835 the Società Casini e Bagni di Mare dell'Ardenza began to build furnished apartments for foreigners and holidaymakers passing through Livorno.
The Casini d'Ardenza complex was designed and built by the architect Giuseppe Cappellini, famous above all for having designed the Goldoni Theater in Livorno. The construction of the Casini d'Ardenza came into operation around 1845. Pietro Volpi's guide from 1846 already attests to its entry into operation, praising the comfort of the apartments and recreation areas.
Housed in a historic 19th century residence, our B&B has two bedrooms, including a 60m2 suite with hydromassage tub and sea view. At guests' disposal a frescoed living room with fireplace where you can serve yourself free liqueurs, a kitchen with coffee machine and sweets always available, and a garden with a characteristic greenhouse. Parking is free. Wi-Fi is free throughout the house. The structure has been restored keeping the frescoes intact, including one by Adolfo Tommasi, and the Venetian terrazzo floors.
