Castellano Castle

The Castellano Castle in Castellano (Trento - Italy), together with Castel Corno and Castel Noarna, was the episcopal seat of Trento and served as protection of the ancient roads in the direction of Lake Cei.

In a panoramic position, it is visible from all over the valley floor. You can reach it in a few minutes by taking the provincial road n. 20 Villa Lagarina – Lago di Cei, near the Rovereto Nord motorway toll booth.

Conquered by the Castelbarco family in the mid-13th century, it then passed to the Lodron counts in 1456, who transformed it into a magnificent residence. The manor is today the property of the Miorandi family of Castellano.
