Civic Museum of Erba - Crevenna Municipal Villa
Established in 1961, the Civic Museum of Erba opened its doors to the public in 1964 in the original location of Villa Majnoni. In 1977, it found its current prestigious residence in the Crevenna Municipal Villa.
The villa, dating back to the late 18th century, was designed by architect Gianluca Gavazzi della Somaglia. The Civic Museum, positioned as an intermediate institution between the major museums of Como and Lecco, holds a significant place in the Brianteo region for preserving artifacts from the ancient populations that inhabited the territory and safeguarding the heritage.
