Walser Museum

The Ecomuseum of Valsesia - Grande Sentiero Walser is a museum center concerning the Walser Culture in Valsesia.

The museum complex was established in 1999 by the Piedmont Region, and was coordinated first by the Valsesia mountain community and then by the union of municipalities Unione Montana dei Comuni della Valsesia.

The Walser Museum is located in the Pedemonte hamlet and is housed in a building dating back to the 17th century.

Inside it reproduces the typical environments of a house, with original furnishings, objects and tools useful for daily life and for the processing and storage of food.
