Arco
Arco is an Italian town in the autonomous province of Trento, fourth by population after Trento, Rovereto and Pergine Valsugana. It is part of the Alto Garda and Ledro Community.
Arco is located north of the Altogarda plain, the final part of the Sarca river valley which flows into Lake Garda, 6 km north-north-east of Riva del Garda. The position protected by the mountains and the proximity of Lake Garda allow this area to maintain a particularly mild climate (which allows the growth of Mediterranean plants), which makes this city a popular resort for centuries. North of Arco is the Patone cave, a horizontal cave that can be easily visited.
