International University of Art
The International University of Art of Florence is the university center specializing in teaching techniques for the conservation and enhancement of the artistic heritage, and, as an international institution, it attracts hundreds of students from all over the peninsula and in large part also from 'abroad.
It is an institution that was born on the wave of the need to provide our country with skills and abilities adequate to deal with the huge amount of works of art present. It was born in Florence, as a place that, symbolically, holds the primacy in Italy in terms of art and enhancement of cultural heritage.
