At the gates of Turin, in the municipality of Collegno, there is this very particular village built at the end of the 19th century at the behest of Napoleone Leumann, an important entrepreneur of Swiss origin, for the workers of his cotton mill.
The project was entrusted by Leumann to Pietro Fenoglio who designed it in Liberty style (Art Nouveau Italian Sile).
Inside today you will find a vintage station (the Turin - Rivoli), the Church of Santa Elisabetta in an eclectic style, the old elementary school and many other historic buildings in Liberty style.
A beautiful village with a beautiful history born from an enlightened entrepreneur like Napoleone Leumann.
