Manarola Village

Manarola, an ancient village on the Ligurian Riviera di Levante, is a fraction of the municipality of Riomaggiore, in the province of La Spezia, and is one of the Cinque Terre.

Manarola, like the other Cinque Terre, is squeezed between the Ligurian Sea and the steep mountain range that detaches from the Apennines at Monte Zatta and descends towards the South-East, forming a watershed between the Val di Vara and the coastal area.

The village is located in the final stretch of the valley of the Groppo stream.
