Villa Zironi 

The splendid Villa Zironi (viale Timavo at the corner of via della Racchetta - Reggio Emilia) is a private villa from the 1920s, a true jewel of eclectic-liberty style architecture.

The owner has opened the doors of the villa to host the Habitants Atypiques exhibition on the occasion of Fotografia Europea 2012 Vita Comune.

The exhibition is the result of research by Alexa and Irène Brunet on housing styles and atypical ways of living. The two sisters have traveled all over France photographing people who have decided to live differently, away from the big cities, building their own homes by themselves, alone, with families, or in groups.

Their so-called "wild" constructions are full of charm and inventiveness and offer other ways of thinking and living.
