Donnafugata was born in Sicily from the initiative of a family that has over 160 years of experience in quality wine.

Donnafugata's adventure began in 1983 from the historic cellars of the Rallo family in Marsala. Then in the Contessa Entellina vineyards in the heart of western Sicily. While in 1989 he arrived on the island of Pantelleria where he began to produce natural sweet wines.

Donnafugata seeks excellence, day after day, through attention to detail in the vineyard, in the cellar, in the relationship with the environment.
The cellars of the Donnafugata winery are located in Sicily: Marsala, Contessa Entellina and Pantelleria.

Giacomo Rallo and his wife Gabriella, with their children Josè and Antonio, carry out an entrepreneurial project that focuses on attention to detail and puts man at the service of nature to produce wines that are increasingly responsive to the potential of the territory.

Extreme Quality is the entrepreneurial style that reflects the company philosophy. The winery produces wines with respect for the environment that stand out for their pleasantness and complexity, capable of making those who taste them happy, representative of an innovative Sicily.
