The Galleria dei Candelabri or Sala della Biga is part of the Vatican Museums and is a room from the end of the eighteenth century the large Roman marble group of the chariot chest pulled by two horses is preserved: dated 1st century AD, it underwent extensive restoration in 1788.
Also famous is the copy of the Discobolus from a Greek original in bronze by Myron (about 460 BC), found in the Villa Adriana in Tivoli.
