Gaggio Montano is an Italian town in the metropolitan city of Bologna, in Emilia-Romagna.
Its symbol is the Lighthouse, built on the Sasso di Rocca, a monument dedicated to the fallen of the two world wars.
Its inhabitants are called "gaggesi". The village of Gaggio appears already around 1580 in the Gallery of the geographical maps of the Vatican palaces with the name of "Gazzo".
It is part of the Union of the Bolognese Apennines.
