The Franz Liszt Museum (Liszt Ferenc Emlékmúzeum in Hungarian) is located in Budapest, Hungary, inside a corner Renaissance house designed by Adolf Lang in 1877.
Above the windows on the second floor there are bas-reliefs by famous composers, such as Bach , Mozart, Hadyn, Erkel, Beethoven and Liszt himself. Liszt not only lived in that house, but also founded a musical academy in the city.
In 1986, on the centenary of the death of Franz Liszt, this museum was opened in his home.
Various objects are grouped here, including documents, furniture and two pianos on which the musician played and composed.
